Before you build your next offer, read this.

I once launched an offer I believed would feel like oxygen to a diver low on air. 

“I’ll create an offer with low/no minimum term, a no risk guarantee, and take away all reasons they would ever say no.”

At the time, I was reading $100M Offers and was convinced that a dramatic offer plus money-back guarantees were the key to 7-figures.

It felt brilliant… on paper.

I smiled as I imagined the Stripe notifications lighting up.

"Then I will post about the offer on LinkedIn and it will be a no brainer for everyone who reads it."

"Surely," I confidently convinced myself, "this Hormozi-style offer will make people line up to buy."

Just two weeks after those imagined Stripe pings, the offer flat‑lined…sales trickled in and commitment evaporated.

But it was worse than you think.

I was banking on that offer to be the future of my business. 

Yet, it barely drove revenue and turned out to come across as transaction instead of transformational (our core value).

And because I attached that offer to my brand identity, it confused my audience when I shut it down. 

Every post felt off‑message and planning became guesswork. 

My audience became fragmented and fixing the issue took months. 

Man, I've made some bad moves and failed many times. 

This is what happens when we fail to craft a clear offer because we're too focused on marketing an irresistible offer. 

Did you catch that? 

1) We over-focus on attraction
2) We underdeliver on clarity 

We get so caught-up making the offer "irresistible" vs validating for clarity and effectiveness. 

When unchecked echo chamber advice meets a good-intentioned agency owner… offers still fail.

Agencies who thrive build their offer first. Marketing second.
Agencies who don’t last build their marketing first. Offer second.
